Have you gotten involved in something you care about on campus? Do you have a faculty/staff member who knows you by name? These are things that matter for your success at UA and FYE wants to help you get started on the right foot! Transition Talks are your opportunity to set up individual meetings with a professional staff member, graduate student staff member, or undergraduate student staff member to discuss goal setting, involvement opportunities, and challenges or successes you are facing during your first year. Additionally, Transition Talks provide an opportunity to gain a mentor on campus.
Are you interested in scheduling a Transition Talk? Complete our Transition Talks Form and a staff member from the office will contact you soon!
If you would like to learn more about the staff members before scheduling a meeting, check out the stories from their first year experiences.
