The Camp 1831 experience provides first-year students with the opportunity to make friends, have fun, and develop the pride that comes with being a UA student. Through Camp 1831, first-year students will explore where they fit in this new environment and feel part of the UA family before they ever step foot in the classroom.
Participants are led by The A-Team, current UA students who are passionate about supporting the transition to the first year at UA. These students offer their personal insight, advice, and give tips for having a fun and successful college experience.
Camp 1831 participants have a head start in making meaningful connections with other UA students, faculty, and staff. Students leave Camp 1831 feeling prepared and excited for their first year!
The cost for Camp 1831 is $175 and includes meals, a Camp 1831 t-shirt, Camp 1831 supplies, and transportation for camp related events. Registration occurs on a first come, first served basis and closes on July 22, 2019. There are a limited number of scholarships available to students with a demonstrated financial need.
