FYE and Housing and Residential Communities have partnered to offer a living space for BRIDGE participants to continue building community beyond the 3-day, 2-night August program. The BRIDGE living-learning community is housed in John England Jr. Hall.

The living-learning community features include:

  • A Resident Assistant (former participant in the BRIDGE program)
  • Monthly events held in the residence hall and the Ferguson Center
  • A shared academic course, “Intro to African-American Studies”
  • A UA faculty or staff mentor
  • An upperclassman mentor in participant’s academic major or with shared interests

The Bridge living-learning community is full. You can place yourself on the community’s waiting list by noting your interest on the BRIDGE 2021 application. There is still plenty of space in the BRIDGE program, and you can visit the Bridge Application page to learn more. More information about UA living-learning communities can be found on the Housing and Residential Communities website.
